英文でコラムを書いてみました。
内容はあまりこだわっていなく、コラムっぽい文章を書きました。

"Economic growth preventing suicide of society"
I have heard that one of the conditions to achieve economic growth is increase of population.
In other words, economy is not going to grow up unless increasing population, if not taking into account that advanced technology improves productivity.
「take Ａ into account」「Ａを考慮に入れる」
「productivity」「生産性」
So, we can not see economic growth in the condition that population is steady.
What any problems are there about it?
It may be nothing of problems, on the theory configured with elements that I offered now.
「configure」「構成する」
Because It is only that society is going to be continued with economic activity on a fix level.
But, generally, it is said that economic growth is plentiful necessary for society.
On these points, I suspect, we can lead to the conclusion that all society potentially have some negative problems.
So I can say, there is a fact that society always is suicidal in some degree.
Human beings with the regular problem of society suicide, it may be reasonable to be regarded that even peace is build up on that premise.

If we don't continue to make economy growing up to cover out society suicide or to heal the damage indirectly,･･･
･･･everyone would forget the significance to keep order in their own country.
「significance」「意義」
Economic growth may be the only way to prevent suicide of society.

「社会の自殺を防ぐ経済成長」
経済成長を実現する条件のひとつに、人口の増加があると聞いたことがあります。
これは言い換えると、テクノロジーの発達による生産性の向上を考慮しない場合、人口が増加しない限り、経済成長しないことを表しています。
人口が一定である条件下では、経済成長を見ることはできないということです。
そこには一体どのような問題があるのでしょうか？
今、挙げた要素のみで構成される理論の上では、おそらく問題はないでしょう。
同一水準の生産活動が、末永く継続されるというだけですから。
しかし、一般的には、経済成長は必須であると言われています。
これらのことから、推察するに、社会は潜在的に、ネガティブな問題を抱えているという結論が導き出せます。
つまり、社会は常に、ある程度、自殺し続けているという事実があるということです。
その自殺問題は、人類に常に伴い、平和もその前提の上に形作られるものであるという解釈が適当であるようです。
もしも社会の自殺を覆い隠すため、あるいは、間接的に癒やすために、経済成長をし続けなければ、
皆が秩序を保つことの意義を忘れてしまうでしょう。
経済成長は、社会の自殺を防ぐための、唯一の方法なのかもしれません。
